Helen is her name, she was 98 when she passed away.  I found that out yesterday when I looked up her obituary on the web.  She lived in that cute little house that keeps calling to JeanPaul.  For the past several months he has seen the numbers 222 everywhere.  He plays that number every week convinced that it is a sign he’s going to win money.

Then, one day, he went to look at a house for sale next to his brother’s house.  It was 222.  He knew.  I stopped at the house on my way home from work on Friday.  It is a tiny little house.  Barely large enough to fit our furniture – probably not even large enough for the furniture.  Certainly not for the book cases unless they go on the 2nd floor.

Helen planted trees and gardens  all around her tiny house.  All the trees right where they should be to dapple the house in shade all day long.  It is a little paradise that Helen built and lived in for over 50 years.  Some else is going to purchase it, though.  JeanPaul is convinced that sale will fall through so he says “get ready” – we are moving.

The property is in probate court so it may take several months more before Helen’s paradise is owned by someone other than Helen.  I hope whoever lives there loves her gardens and protects her trees.  She planted and tended it all with love, you can tell.
