Except for when he was a puppy, Moses has always been too big to sleep on the bed. Every so often we would try it but the trial usually ended with me on the floor. He liked to stretch out, you see. 80 lbs of stretched dog doesn’t leave much room.

Last Monday my Moe-Moe gave me “that look”. We both knew it was time but I think he knew I would keep him with me forever, if I could, so he had to give me permission to let him go.

Between him and his sister, Borgia, I have had the company of two loving and love able companions for 13 & a half years. Borgia died 2 years ago and Moses left us last Wednesday. Despite the grief, I am grateful to have had them in my life.

I just thought you would want to know that Borgia and Moses are together again.
